Michael Coffey

Being born and raised in Napa Valley gave me the great opportunity to instantly work in the wine industry and kick off my career in Customer Experience. My journey began with building a startup focused on creating enjoyable experiences no matter where you are. This evolved into developing startups aimed at meeting customers online and ultimately led me to consulting larger companies on how to connect with their customers and build strong brand loyalty.

 

My foundational years opened the door to bring this experience into the healthcare space and through the course of 5 years I went from building one of the first subscription based business models in the healthcare space to implementing disruptive SaaS and subscription based models which led to being asked to build the Global Digital Health team out of Barcelona for Roche Diabetes Care. I wont lie, this was one of my favorite times of life.

 

I was given the opportunity to lead the organization through Agile transformation, lead a systems transformation to support the new business models which impacted over 80 countries, and launch products that would improve the health of millions all over the world.

 

My last journey allowed me to take those experiences and dive into the world of Data and AI. Over the last 4 years I have had the amazing opportunity to build teams to govern data, transform data into insights for both the company and the user, and use data science to personalize the consumers experience with their health through sensor based technology and digital experiences.

 

In short,  I love to solve complex problems with solutions that enable the consumer to become their best self and giving them a reason to enjoy the experience in doing so.
